Based in Leesburg, VA, Backflow Testers of NoVA was founded in 2009 by Chris Rossbach after he got tired of paying too much for the annual backflow test for his irrigation system. He got certified, bought a test kit, and worked evenings and weekends while working full-time as an IT professional in the government space. (He is a PMP and Certified Scrum Master) After 34 years in IT, he retired from his gov’t job in January of 2024 and now devotes full-time to the backflow testing business.
